Proviant Audio (aka Mathijazz) is drummer/multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer and DJ Mathias Stubø (born 1992) from Tønsberg, Norway. Proviant Audio blends retro funk, disco and soul with modern electronic music into a warm, eclectic north european blend.

Proviant Audio is the recording moniker of Norwegian drummer/multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer Mathias Stubø, an artist who at the tender age of eighteen is set to create quite a stir with his inspirational sound.
In his home country Stubø has already gained notoriety having won an ‘Artist of the Week’ award on Norway’s national radio network, NRK P3 (and at the incredible age of 14!). In 2010 the self same station has him nominated for ‘Artist of the Year’ and he has been building a solid reputation for his live performances backed by a full band of up to 12 members.

Proviant Audio has performed shows at the festivals Hove, Øya, by:Larm, Slottsfjell, Kongsberg Jazzfestival and many more.
