Jesse Palter & The Alter Ego is the brain child of Jesse Palter
(Detroit/Chicago) and Sam Barsh (Chicago/New York). After meeting in
2006, they began collaborating on original music that has been making
waves amongst their audiences and contemporaries alike. Both established musicians and dynamic performers in their own right (Palter received honors as "Outstanding Jazz Vocalist" 3 years in a row at the Detroit Music Awards and Barsh has played with everyone from Cassandra Wilson, Avishai Cohen, Boyz II Men, Bobby McFerrin and The Brand New Heavies to name a few).

The Alter Ego is creating a niche for themselves by blending catchy hooks, club-worthy beats, captivating lyrics while maintaining the spirit of their jazz and soul roots. They spent a month performing in Macau where their high octane performances received rave reviews and are now debuting their exciting and promising project at various venues in the States.
