For the Kings

From the Mississippi Delta to the mountains of Appalachia, from the northwest corner of Idaho to the sunny hills of Southern California, these gentlemen produce a sweet blend of country blues ironed out over the years in and around the city of Los Angeles. Joshua Bond and Neal Marsh started playing music together in the summer of 2007 and recorded their first LP, A Collection of Songs for the Kings produced by Halftone Productions, in the summer of 2010. With the release of the album, Josh and Neal added Jonathan Horton, Miles Mathieson, Andy Johnson, and Mike Russeck. Playing sets from 1 to 4 hours at numerous bars and parties around Los Angeles, this band infuses their original songs with a blend of tasteful rock n roll, blues, and country. Drawing on the repertoires of Elvis and Hank, the Rolling Stones and the Velvet Underground, The Band and The Faces, they are interested only in showing you a good time.
