"A great blend of surf rock, urban jam, and scary cool vocals!"
The Belgian Bruges based band Dollarqueen brings you a shimmering sound that is often described as bluesy, psychedelic, dirty road movie rock drenched with influences from the sixties and seventies. Due to the timbre of singer Filip Bohyn, steaming guitar licks from Koen Schaballie and rhythm section of drummer Dave Eeckeloo and Robin De Mol on bass, it sometimes even seems as if Dollarqueen were teleported straight from the seventies into the 21st century. At times their music is rock solid, scorching hard and then subtly melancholic. It often covers the backside of the coin, the harsh reality of unrequited desires.
